What we store

Prior stores the task data you create so it can synchronize across your devices. If you use email/password authentication, Prior stores your email address, display name, and a bcrypt password hash. If you sign in with Google, Prior receives your stable Google account identifier, email address, verification status, display name, and profile image URL. Prior does not need or retain access to your Google Drive, Calendar, Gmail, or other Google data.

How it is used

Your account identifies your synchronized tasks and lets you revoke individual device sessions. We do not sell personal data or use task content for advertising.

Local data

Prior keeps a local copy of tasks on each device so the app remains useful without a connection. Removing the app may remove that local copy; the server copy remains until it is deleted through the product or by contacting the operator.

Export and deletion

You can download all your data (Settings → Profile & account → Export my data) and delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent: see how to delete your Prior account.
